Organized by sf2p, the 3 rd Fluid Particle Separation (FPS) congress, which took place in Lyon from October 15 to 17, 2018, brought around 100 people from 15 countries around the world (including 10 people from Asia).

70 oral presentations in liquid and gas in parallel session and 15 posters (with oral presentation of 5 minutes) were selected.

4 plenary guest speakers started the sessions:
-Urs PEUKER (Germany): “Selective separation of fine and ultrafine particles”
-Wallace LEUNG (Hong Kong): “Nanofiber filter in aerosol filtration”
– Kimura KATSUKI (Japan): “Membrane fouling caused by biopolymers in surface water”
– Olivier GUIRAUD (France): “What can bring synchrotron X-ray microtomography to the characterization of filtering media? ”

The participants were also able to exchange with the 6 exhibitors present: Anton Paar, Lum, TSI, Sopat, Lenzig and Math 2 Market
